I'll probably come out again when you get one close to Tulsa this year. Gotta get that patch this time.
For anyone who's even thinking about taking this course, you should certainly do it! I improved dramatically both days, and even think a repeat of the course could do me more good.
I sent off for mine on 10/17 - We'll see how close I am to that 35 Day window. I'm hoping to have it here by December, but by Christmas would be a nice present!
I can certainly sympathize with that. I wasn't near that close but think that after a few days rest and some more practice hours behind the rifle I could do better than I did last week.
I may try and sneak back out to USSA and see if I can get back out to the long range and try again...
I would certainly consider this. Most of my weeknights are eaten up with things already, but if I knew ahead of time I could make the appropriate scheduling for it.
I am really interested in this. I just finished up my first AR15 build and think this would be a great class for me!
I'll have to check in with the wife and see what she thinks about letting me buy ~400 rounds :X
hey all!
Wife finally gave me the nod to finish off buying the parts for my first ar15.
Got them all here except for the BCG and thought I'd start to assemble.
I have the lower completed and I've got the dust cover and charging handle in the upper receiver, but I ran into some issues after...
Shop out of state for the best deal.
I helped a few people here a couple months back that were looking for Tacoma's. I bought mine at Hendrick Toyota in Meriam Kansas. Was worth the drive for the price I paid.
Gulf States is a middle man between Toyota and the dealership in state. The...
Not in OKC anymore, but I played a bunch of the courses over there. Lincoln west is a great course, it was one of my favorites. It's a muni, so it's not always in the best condition, but it's a very fun course and has some challenging holes on it.
Silverhorn is good as well, depending on...
Carrier provided roms are horrible.
Flash the newest unbranded you can get for your phone and be amazed at how much better it is.
Frankly, I've moved on from Windows for everything but gaming. I'm up and running on a new Linux installation and I don't intend on leaving it. Virtual windows...
I hate getting these requests as well. I can't say no to my family, but they find the most ridiculous ways to ruin their technology...
Missing boot loader segment doesn't sound that bad, you should be able to enter your boot loader command line and restore from a disk drive, but I'm sure...
If this is truly the answer, then were we not doomed as a country from the start? Will our centralized government, and for that matter our country, go the same route as all of the world powers that came before us? If we are not able to prevent, what appears to me to be inevitable, then how can...
Even as I wrote it out earlier, it occurred to me that the notion of the government regulating the safety and security of privately owned aviation companies was suspect. Your example regarding my lack of ability to chose a competitive product or service that is more akin to my personal beliefs...
Not to mention, that there is no standardization for the power of a vote either. I'm sure this was something that our founders struggled with. Is one well educated and informed vote worth the same as an uneducated and uninformed vote? Should an individual be able to vote on particular...
I can get on board with this. I know that many people, at least my age, tend to think that because of the legal jargon thrown around by the politico's that their basic understanding/reading of the constitution isn't how it is supposed to be, when in fact it is just the opposite.
Agree here as...
As a young person (26 tomorrow :X) I still had a faint hope that someone in an elected position had the dignity to complete their job in an honorable fashion. While I know in my heart, that this is not how it works, I still attempt to convince myself that it is. If my elected officials don't...
You pretty much posted what's been in my head all along. There does not seem to be a constitutional argument to support an interpretation of the Second Amendment in any way other than that it shall not be legislated against.
Which, brings me to the part that bothers me the most. If an average...
This sums up basically everything I've found, especially some of the things I pointed to in my previous post. It appears that they just give the run around until people are either confused enough, or they say "don't worry about it, it's just how it's going to be". They give reasons, that when...
