I grew up on a farm. We milked cows and raised mostly hay and feed, and a little wheat. Mom worked, Dad milked cows and did the farming. My brother and I helped some. We were both hiring out for any kind of paying labor we could get. I got paid well for hauling hay. Not so well for fixing fences...
95% of people who claim farm income on their taxes have other jobs and income. Most farmers are part time farmers. 50% of those claiming farm income on their taxes sell less than $10k. I know farmers that farm full time and their wives have jobs. That is a great way to get heath insurance if you...
A couple of years ago I found out about some cousins I had never met. One of them was chatting on facebook with me telling me about herself. Her husband was Ed Head, an instructor at Gunsite and writer and field editor for Shooting Illustrated.

Only used two in my life. That is the best experience.
One of the two was a friend who recently died from ALS. His funeral is tomorrow. He shortened a shotgun stock for my wife.
I shot some p-dogs witha friend with a .17 Remington. His biggest complaint was the small size of the bullets gave him problems loading them. He also had a .223 that he shot the most, he sold the .17 rem but kept his .17 hmr.
One of the Shooting Illustrated writers made one from a Ruger American. He wrote an article on it. He was who talked Ruger into making the Ruger Scout Rifle.
I really think having and using both wet and dry tumbling is best. You can use the one you think will give the desired results. As most comments here say different brass conditions can use different methods. If you can use both you will be able have more options and maybe more practical and...
Go wet, you wont.regret. I have wet and dry. Forty year old Lyman Turbo vibratory and a Thumlers tumbler for wet. There are few bad choices if any. Get the pretty one. The one the catches your eye. Harbor frieght sell them too.
Try Nick’s in El Reno. Three women who are very good barbers. Nick’s daughter is the boss and she cuts hair too. I know El Reno is too far from Shawnee.
Ruger is making sure that markings on the new Marlins show clearly they are made by Ruger. Their web site has pictures showing the difference. The one I saw tested has a threaded barrel and several things Ruger claims they improved.
Buy this. It was a new model before Remington went broke and may be hard to find. It seems like just what you want.
