    I'm sad to say. . . .

The way I see it is that if he is not breaking any laws, harming other people or actually attempting to pass himself off as a police officer he should be free do do whatever he wants. To many of us believe that there should be restrictions placed on others for what they might do instead of what...

Anyone help with some crime rate stats for gun control countries?

I'm told that the Republic of North Korea has a very low crime rate. The rate in the old Soviet Union was quite low also until people were allowed more freedom. Maybe its freedom we need to ban and not firearms. Michael

    I'm sad to say. . . .

Don't get me wrong. If this guy is actually trying to pass himself off as a police officer I have no problem with him being arrested, tried and then when found guilty dropped in the middle of the ocean to die. Michael

    I'm sad to say. . . .

Why does he need to justify it? Can't we all agree that in a supposedly free society a person can do silly stuff so long as it does not harm others? Michael

    Do you

Exactly so. I have only encountered this one time but I'm sure had I fired the rifle before cleaning it there would have been major damage. Michael

    I'm sad to say. . . .

I hear those atomic weapons are worse than pepper spray if you're down wind of them. Make sure the wind is at your back before using them. Michael

    anybody raise rabbits?

I used to raise them and the comments made earlier about having fun keeping them alive in the summer is spot on. I would like to raise them again but the summers have been to brutal and even in a mild summer you need a way to cool them out here where there are no trees to help cool things down...

    The Official OC'r Sighting Thread

It depends on whether or not you use the common English definition of the word. I would not think that just carrying a weapon would be brandishing. Some folks like to make up their own language so it could be depending on who's version of the English language you are using at the moment...

    Open carry day is here.

This reminds me of when I was a kid on Christmas. Waiting a month to open all of the presents. Then when the day finally comes you find out the packages contained socks and school clothes. The anticipation was much greater than the event itself. Michael

Its after midnight! HAPPY OC DAY!

I figured the County trucks would be out sanding the highways so that they wouldn't be so slippery what with all the blood running down the streets because of open carry. Michael

SQ 766 - Ban Taxation on Intangible Assets - Poll

Will my niece have to pay a tax on her client list of folks she baby sits for? My nephew has a list of people who have signed up for him to mow their laws. Is a tax owed on that list? Michael

    NYTimes OK open carry article

I have found both sides quick to trample on the rights of citizens. Each side just have a difference of opinions on which rights should be trampled on. Michael

Well I saw my first baiter today.

Interesting how we defend those who represent the Government when they use legal means of baiting but at the same time cry foul when people openly carry firearms use the same legal tactics. In the first case we say that good citizens should know the law and not take the bait but in the second we...

Gonna watch Fox 23's hour-long open carry broadcast?

I watched part of the on line broadcast using the links provided but for some reason could not get part 2. I did notice that in part 1 when they posted the questions of where any kind of carry is prohibited they stated that carrying of firearms in a liquor store is prohibited by law. Is this...

Thief and Liar at my Badshot Ponca City Gun Show Last week

    wife passed background check

The forum is an excellent place to bring it up. There are many of us out here who might learn something from the answers he gets. As far as releasing it to someone other than the person who brought it in. Even with that persons permission. How do I know you're not a fed? Not that they would...
