Hi - my father is putting a Colt SAA together and is looking for someone to make him a set of grips. Can someone tell me (PM is fine if public posting is no-go) who Bob is and where to find him?
Thanks!

Join it. Seriously. It cost me $155 total for the first year and $55 every year after while I was at OSU. 500 yard rifle range and I was usually the only person out there.
It's common in hi-power competition to load ammo with lengths well past mag length in order to better engage the lands of the barrel when the bullet makes the jump from the throat. The rounds are single-loaded through the ejection port.
I've got a SnapSafe...it was the only one that would fit width-wise into the hole I had planned. Moved it into my 2nd story apartment and assembled it by myself.
Check this guy out, he's in OKC. Sounds like you want the Nordic follower and mag tube spring.

Like died. Took a doodie in the middle of a stage. Trigger wouldn't reset unless the rifle was racked reaaaaly gently. So he ran a bolt action AR and ejected half his magazine as live rounds. It was pretty painful to watch.
It's a great range. There's a 50-500 yard range on one side, and a 0-200 yard range on the other. The 0-200 gets used a lot by the police and I saw the OSU ROTC out there once. There was rarely anyone else out there when I would go.
This does not make a bit of difference on a properly functioning AR.
Make sure the gas key is tight, make sure the roll pin is holding the gas tube into the FSB properly, make sure you've got oil in all the right places, make sure you've got good mags, and make sure you've got good ammo.
