I need to find a Mossberg 590A1 with the 20" barrel and ghost ring sights. I'd prefer the model with the accuchoke barrel, but I'd certainly not turn one down with the cylinder bore. I'm in west OKC, near I-40 and MacArthur, but would be willing to travel a bit for the right deal.
I have one in my safe with a stainless slide. No more than a box of ammo shot through it. I've carried it on and off when I wanted deep concealment. I'm in west OKC. Make me an offer.
That woman who takes care of the park acts like she is the owner. I've heard several people refer to her as the Dog Park Nazi. So far as I can tell, that park is public property, and as such would be specifically excluded as a prohibited place under state law. Please do all of us a favor and...
Not so fast... there's a SCOTUS decision that says that a visible handgun is NOT RAS for a stop. Given the facts presented in this thread, this man appears to me to have a case under 42 USC 1983. I've seen settlements lately in the 15K-22K range. Get a lawyer.
SCOTUS decision > Oklahoma...
Watching this I can't help but think about all the times we hear how dangerous that celebratory small arms gunfire is, since what goes up must come down. It must have been positively raining lead below one of these dogfights.
Yes, it's one of several places we frequent. We started out at the Norman location, then learned they were posted on memorial. We contacted corporate, and they changed their policy to allow all lawful carry at all their locations, including Texas and Colorado. We like Rudys.
I'm surprised that the topic of who posts gunbuster signs wasn't brought up. I quit Jimmy's Egg because of their silly signs. Beverly's on the other hand welcomes lawful carry.
Most of you know that I'm the President and one of the Founders of the Oklahoma Open Carry Association. First of all, I didn't agree with the premise posted in the thread over on OCDO. There are a lot of regular posters here who support OC, a few who oppose it, but the majority here really...
We ran into the same traffic, but I'm brave or stupid, I guess. I turned on all my lights and showed everyone south of Mustang that it is possible to evacuate counterflow. I'm amazed at the sheeple behavior during a disaster. People just lined up in SB lanes while the NB lanes were deserted...
If I have any kind of lead time, I and my drivers get the hell out of the way. Mainly because I have the equipment needed to clear roads and possibly save people once the storm passes, and I can't help that effort if my trucks are destroyed.
