In my experience people generally are referring to the early 80s guns when this is the topic. I will say, I can tell a difference in the blueing and action work for these guns. Im no expert but one problem was the mas production of the pythons. Back when everything was hand fitted and polished...
I collected colt snakes for over 40 years. Nothing beats an older python for shooting. Unfortunately you really have to know what your doing when buying older pythons. Since the prices went crazy, you have a lot of people taking advantage and selling guns with issues. Add in fact you can’t get...

I have collected pythons for years and unfortunately there very few out there that can work on them. Add in parts issues and you even more limited. Frank would be the only one I would currently trust to work on my vintage snake guns.
No the seller would have record that sold as them as pre ban. My receipts also state pre ban and whom they came from. I can sell grips in OK without issue but have to sale with gun out of state. To make it all easy, I sale ivory with gun and a receipt from original purchase. New buyer has...

I been looking for some good grips to get close to ivory. Since November I have went through 2 grip makes that were total jokes. I finally came across mike with MDGrips. Service and grips were amazing and I highly recommend him.
As far as giraffe, it feels and looks great. I think it’s more...
i was in the library and saw a blue 19-5 ($650) and a 66-1 ($750). I thought that was a reasonable starting spot since I now know they haggle. I didn’t try to get better price since they were both 6 inch.
For anyone interested.
Finally scored my second nickle 19 snub. It’s a dash 3 from 1975. People have been asking crazy prices for these. For all the masses I got this for $750. Just takes time looking.
