I know you didn't and I didn't take it personally. Just having been in the industry for so long I can start a debate about the validity of it unintentionally....
You talk to enough people that pay $1500/yr and have gotten $40k worth of repairs in the last 4 years and they flip out over a $150...
Its catastrophe coverage. The wording of the endorsement is poor and is technically "earth movement" coverage. So the settling of a home would be covered and instead of filing new forms with the state and going through that process all while considering an earthquake claim has never been paid in...
Weird....I work for Liberty Mutual and we do offer it. I don't know why we wouldn't through our partnership with Geico since it's the same policy. We have a 15% deductible and exclude brick veneer.
I can also set you up with a guy that writes standalone earthquake policies that are pretty...
Sucks to hear since it's so close to me. I usually go to the OKCGC but this was a nice option on bad weather days.
Their prices were ridiculous on most everything I looked at. I know its hard for these small stores to compete with big box retailers and online merchants but everything I ever...
Well it's looking like part of that budget will now be occupied by a revolver for my wife. She got a new job in an area shes not comfortable in and her Purple People Eater .22lr isn't something for her to carry.
She likes the LCR so I will probably get one of those and something for me. Still...
I have to say i'm not surprised the 10/22 was suggested but I am shocked by the overwhelming response to it. I know they are great guns and with your suggestions that is the route I am going to go.
Thank you everyone for the insight. I'll have to see if the wife is interested in one for...
Fair point, she still doesn't know about the AR or the 1911. What's one more!?
I do enjoy my friends 30/30 and I have also been considering a bolt action .308.
I've been considering the 10/22, seems like one of those guns every gun owner should have. I don't know if I can get the wife on board with an AK but thats a good suggestion.
This isn't hers but its exactly the same. Despite the reviews I haven't had a single issue with it. Been very reliable...
Trying to decide what my next gun should be. Under $1k.
Currently I have:
Ruger SR1911 (love this thing...alot)
Springfield XD-M Compact 9mm
Kahr CM9 (what I usually carry)
Remington 870 with a short barrel and a long one
Sig Sauer Mosquito (technically the wifes....its purple...and...
None that I know of that are geared toward women. H&H offers some good classes after you take the SDA course. Get her enrolled now!
Glad she was ultimately ok.
