I have 0 experience with the controlled hunt. I have young ones too so I'll be putting in for nearby hunts.
So if you have 30 guys show up for a one day hunt, how do you hash out who gets what spot? How do I know someone won't be right on top of me?

Might give this POS one more try. I admittedly never tried guy-lines on it. Gonna put a line on every corner tomorrow.

Any suggestions on a late season blind option? Hunting from the ground and am giving up on the pop-up wind sail.
I'm thinking some t-posts and some camo burlap. I sure liked having a shield from the wind though.
Not 100% sure I'll have this land next year, so nothing too permanent (as nice...
Dang! Good fat does.
I have nothing to lose. Forecast shows that the real rain won't pick up in NEOK until after noon. Unless it's pouring at 430 when I roll out of bed, I'm going to give it the college try tomorrow.

Any NEOK hunters planning on going out tomorrow morning? 90% chance of rain, but I have no blood on my hands yet. Getting desperate.

Think I'm more excited about being able to relax and stretch out in the blind tomorrow. A little tight with the notched bow.

Apparently pop up blinds are designed to fly. Had to put it back together at 530 this morning. Tied it to a tree this last time though, so it didn't travel far. Landed right in front of the blasted camera.
Still better than being in the office.

That kind of thing does make you sick. Hope you find him.
I was granted access to my Creek County spot about three weeks ago. It's all super overgrown, so I had to clear some brush/paths etc. seeing tracks, but it's hard to stay motivated when all I have on cam is one doe in two weeks time ...
Thanks Sticky. I'll stick it out next time. For now I'm wondering how many counties my little pop-up has blown in this wind.

Gave it up at about 8:30. My spot is a really overgrown pasture that butts up to some wood line. I brush-hogged some clearings and a few paths that I know deer are now traveling. Sitting in a ground blind off of the clearing. Kinda sucks. Any suggestions on getting some more deer to me?

First time sitting on my spot in Creek. I haven't been here for over a week and they haven't touched the corn. Anyone else seeing this?

I specifically asked that when going to Wild Country. You get your own deer back, not someone else's.
Seigis batch processes.
