"Others Unknown" by Stephen Jones, McVeigh's lawyer.
Dude's a liberal, not my kind of guy. His record of events - well documented are very much worth reading.
He's not wrong. The rent/rising living costs aren't going to be solved by simply raising wages.
A few stitches to a bleeding head wound won't solve an abusive spouse problem either.
It does help the immediate crisis, and perhaps give some breathing room to sort out the root cause.
Recently watched a couple classic oldies:
Night Patrol and Slap Shot
Even funnier now than they were then. PC police would shut them both down these days.

Those durned woke kids need to tighten their belts and pull themselves up by the bootstraps.
Entitled little bastards think they’re too good to live in a tent.
“Why, when I was a young boy we used to work 15 hours a day for .24 per hour. These durn youngsters just don’t want to work…..
Liberals, Biden, something something.”
Almost makes me think the soundness of the dollar is in jeopardy. Who’s in charge of that?
Better go to war with Iran!
Everyone working for wages that get outrun by inflation, while companies simply pass costs of other commodities on to the consumer will be thrilled to understand your assessment of the situation.
They should take a big helping of “it’s the liberals’ fault” down to grocery store and see if...
Yup.
Lessons learned have been forgotten. It's almost like some of these folks forgot why unions existed, and why they became unimportant. The time is just about ripe for those union recruiters to start handing out cards again, and CEOs are gonna be wondering what happened.
And folks here want to complain because minimum wage workers want more. Their wages/raises don't keep up with inflation. (MY wages aren't either)
Companies raise prices to make up for rising material costs, shipping costs, etc...
Somehow labor costs don't get the same consideration.
