I bought a Bushmaster M4-A3 Patrolmens Carbine at the OKC Bass Pro in 2012 about 2 weeks before the Newtown, CT incident and paid about $775.00 for it. After Newtown, the same rifle was as high as $1,400. Check out what it is going for now...
After shooting and carrying a Browning HiPower in 9mm for years, I bought a RIA Compact Tactical in 9mm. It is my edc now. It is a very accurate gun and a great value for the money.
You can't do it online per my experience. I called them and they told me you have to go to the downtown office. It took about 20 minutes and I was out of there with a permit. I had mine installed last year and the inspector came out on the morning of May 20th and inspected it. 3 hours later...
Raasco grips are nice. Here is my RIA compact tactical 9mm with Raasco cocobolo diamondwood grips, a pearce finger groove insert, and x-grip magazine grip extension for full sized magazines.
I called the last week of June. They also said my order is still in system and will be filled. They just don't know when... Have been using gunbot.net and Cabelas in the interim and have stocked up pretty well.
N2Sooners is exaclty right! Above all, keep being persistent. I still miss great deals within minutes of them hitting the internet. Just wanted to help some fellow okies having a hard time finding anything.
Check it several times during the day. When you wake up, mid morning, lunch, mid afternoon, and evening. It will appear (e.g. 9mm WWB $.38/round) and you have to be quick. Within minutes it will go out of stock. But, you will have luck if you are persistent. The good news is there are...
I got tired of playing the Wal Mart game and can't be there at 6:00 a.m. except on weekends. In the past two months, I have been using gun-bot and have amassed 800 rounds of .223/5.56, 400 rounds of 9mm, and about 300 rounds of .38 spl for the wife to go along with what I had before this...

It doesn't work for federal ammo. I guess walmart is tired of all the calls to management? Anyway, if you download the app for your phone, the store availability...
For anyone that hasn't seen the thread on AR15.com about this, here is a link to the thread that has most of the WM ammo links so you can check stock at your store: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_16/604347_Walmart_availability_thread.html&page=1 3rd post down is where the links are located...
I've seen the 420 rd. cans of 5.56mm at the West Side Norman Walmart show up as "in stock" more than a few times only to be told they didn't have any. Now Walmart has taken down the store availibilty on the link to the 420 rd. cans. Anyone else notice this? Why? Also went to Moore Walmart...
With the gun control legislation virtually dead, it won't be long until the ammo and gun manufacturers catch up to demand. I was at Cabela's in Rogers, AR last weekend and they seem to think it will get better soon. They had a lot of guns, but were still out of the popluar calibers of ammo...
