Decent solo hunt this morning. Still not seeing a big increase in bird numbers. Seems like this year I keep thinking this will be the front that pushes the out of MO and KS, but never materializes.
Even with money it has gotten difficult to find a place a farmer is evening willing to lease. I’ve been trying to find a waterfowl lease for over 6 months. Seems like too many of them have been burned by idiots who treat their land like their personal playground and leave the place trashed.
I have worn them here in single digit temps breaking ice. I felt fine and wasn’t overly cold, but I did wear additional layers underneath that I wouldn’t have needed with neoprene.
I have a pair with the front zipper. I used them last season and hunt 2-3 days a week. This was mostly in crop fields in SE Texas. I like them because of the multiple size options and the boots fit my feet well. My front zipper also stayed watertight and was nice to open on warmer days. No leaks...
I’m looking to lease some land for waterfowl hunting within about 2 hours or so of Tulsa and would go a little farther for the right spot. It would be mainly just me and my son and occasionally a friend or two. I would treat it like my own and pick up after myself. Please let me know if you have...
SE TX has one of the best teal season in the country in my opinion. We had trouble picking up birds before the next group was coming in.
If you get a chance to come down here for an opener you won’t regret it!
These hunts were in SE Texas this last weekend and the teal were here thick. 6 man limit on Saturday and a 4 man limit on Sunday. I know this is okshooters, but still wanted to share. Haha
I’m definitely looking forward to finally moving back to Oklahoma this summer!
I am an avid waterfowler and I had to move to Houston to finish training for work. I’ve been in Texas for going on 5 years and will be moving back hopefully to OKC area in July 2021.
I've done some basic google searches and have found a couple options for hunt clubs, but was wondering if there...
Im looking into starting the stamp process for a can before the trust rules change in July and was wanting some suggestions on cans. I plan on using it mainly on a 8.5" 300 BO, but also want to use on a 308 bull pup i have as well as my standard AR. I m having trouble deciding between short vs...
I run a primary arms 1-6x acss. I like it and still works pretty well for CQB. The main disadvantage of running an optic is increased wight. most that Ive looked at add at least a pound to your loadout.
I read in an article on fox or cnn this morning they were supposed to rendezvous with another boat to refuel, but it never showed. I'll try and find the story.
