Here's my newest. My son made this one for me out of a chunk of eucalyptus.
And because blues is my obsession, he embedded a glow-in-the -dark map
of the Mississippi River from Memphis to Vicksburg. He also incorporated a
few details made from family heirlooms. Made the strap too. Neither of us...
My Jeep was wrapped when I bought and I peeled it as soon as I got it home.
The factory paint was very nice underneath. There wasn't even any residue to clean up.
It probably matters what brand of vinyl you use. I'm planning to wrap it again myself when warm weather gets here.
I went both days and walked the whole shebang. The stupid-high prices
really put me off. I saw very few guns under a grand that were worth looking at.
Saw 2 I.H. garands for close to 2k and some pretty sad Springfields which started at 1250.
H&R for about 1400.
The ammo deals are done for...
I'd strongly suggest surrounding yourself with like-minded people.
Trying to go it alone usually doesn't go well. There are tons of cool people close by succeeding

I just like weird stuff. And yes, the first thing I discovered was that it tumbled out the left barrel. Apparently that's common with them. And no, they aren't getting 800 bucks for them. I gave 399 when they first came out and now they're all over the place for 369. If anybody wants to shell...
It's well worth the drive. Chances are you'll never see a bigger show than this. I go both days just so I can see it all. Lots of collectible guns and you'll see stuff you've never seen before. Just don't get delusional about ammo bargains. There won't be any. If you are looking seriously for...
Sooner Guns on Mingo had quite a few holsters last time I was in there. Action Arms is just a block or so north. It's a cool store but I don't recall a whole lot of holsters. Sportsworld on 41st between Memorial and Sheridan has all kinds of stuff. Some holsters. There's an Academy half a mile...
The nephew is in Canada. It's legal there and he bought it retail. I find it odd that they have some really restrictive gun laws up there but this is ok. Whatever. He's having a "blast"!
I put a Roll n Lock on my Tacoma. I like it pretty well. Leaks a little water but not very much. Dust is more of a problem. It's great for traveling with luggage and fishing stuff. Locks to the tail gate. Prevents opening the tail gate which I like. Its held up really well for some years. Cost...
Went with my son to a half dozen new-car
dealerships a few weeks ago. I can't believe the slim pickings on their used inventory. Thin to virtually nothing. That's really weird. Never seen this before. That market must be smoking hot right now.
The original Vanishing Point, The French Connection, The original Italian Job, Bullitt, Two Lane Blacktop,
The original Gone in 60 seconds, The Seven-Ups, and Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry.
Some of these are hard to find but worth the hunt. And for something a little more light-hearted, The Great...
