This is exactly what I do.
I have an Echo gas powered trimmer and also have a matching Echo edger, which is no longer made. They do make an attachment for the newer model trimmers that will do the same. I never use the edger. I have to walk all the way to the shed in back to get it and I'm...
Probably a good plan with that trailer you have. I've always wondered how those monitors knew if you were towing, and if so, how heavy you were. :rolleyes2
I will say the one in my old '02 Monte Carlo was actually decent. It varied a fair amount depending on driving habits. If I was on the...
Like I said earlier up thread, oils today are a lot different than they used to be. Very generally speaking engine oils in Europe have always been far better than ours. After WWII when additives for viscosity, EP wear additives and detergents started getting used, Europe used a lot more of those...
Don't get emotionally attached to a stock. Be ready to dump it. If it grows to a reasonable amount, set a trailing stop sell order on it and let it ride until it trips and sells. Then go find something else and do it again. ETFs are a lot more stable but don't grow fast like individual stocks...
FWIW, Amsoil Signature Series (their best) is rated for 25,000 miles in normal service (which is basically all highway and virtually nobody is in that service category), or 15,000 miles in severe service which includes short trips, stop and go, etc. and also turbos.
I wouldn't think twice about...
I run Amsoil on extended intervals. Been doing that for over 20 years now, but even running an API certified dino will go 5k to 6k in an engine that’s in good condition and in tune. Oil and engines both are a lot different than back in the every 3000 mile days.
I'd bet a six pack that Cavender would have charged her less for the oil change except for using uber cheap oil.
Subaru specs a synthetic oil. I always took my Amsoil and a filter in there and they charged $12.95 plus $1.29 for the drain plug crush gasket to change my oil. So about $15 bucks...
There are other ways now. Most of mine are in ETFs (exchange traded funds). Sure you won't get rich like your Microsoft story but I'm doing far better than a CD. With an ETF you are buying a whole basket full of stocks, so one company won't take your savings if it tanks. Some of them pay 100%...
This:
And this little ball of fury. Don't let her looks deceive you. She full on charged a full grown male pit bull from across the yard last year. She thought it was going to "get me" as I was weed eating the fence. And she's the best alarm there is to be had.
@trekrok In my case it was sold by Amazon. They were Johnnie on the spot with a refund offer, but the CS person had no idea where it came from or how to check their stock.
Also I had actual other Streamlight lights and packaging to compare. This counterfeit was extremely good until you opened...
Kudos on you doing this.
I got took on Amazon for a Streamlight flashlight and they were completely uninterested in doing anything other than giving me a refund.
Streamlight however was quite interested. I emailed them asking for confirmation that I had a fake and their General Counsel is who...
A guy that I used to work with ran our machine shop. We worked pretty close together doing bids for aerospace contracts. He did a nickel in federal prison for narcotics trafficking. He learned his lesson and when he got out he never went back to his old ways and instead learned a trade and built...
Yea IDK that a UPIN would help with that. I think it's for names that are enough alike with a felon that you always get flagged for delay so they can determine that you aren't the felon. I shocked that I've never been delayed. There's a chap in Tulsa with the same name as me. I don't know that...
