I have a nice Russian collection but I'd like to add a Mosin to shoot. I'm in BA and am looking for a FTF transaction in the general Tulsa area. I also drive to Chouteau, OK (east of Tulsa 40 miles) a few times a week. CASH available immediately for the right rifle....at a fair price.
Looking for the folding stock assembly that comes with the new Galil Ace gen 2. Many people replace these with OG galil stocks, so if you have one of these laying around I'll pay cash for it asap. This is the folding adapter to use m4 buffer tubes. Im around BA/Tulsa for face to face. They...
I wonder how many they have sold? I'm sure die hard Springfield guys bought them, but after the election I know I've put on the brakes on buying, at least a little.....Too make up for over buying before the election, lol.
I'm also interested to see how people like them. Good post, OP.
Definately go with an AK over SKS. Spend the extra hundred or two for a WASR. I bought a new, never fired WASR 10 on armslist for $500 a few weeks ago in okc, so they are out there. AK over an AR is a difference question. I personally like AKs and ARs, both for different reasons. I'd...
Pm me with your email and I can forward the full RD build class email.
Man, love AKs. Glad to connect with others. Also, I just received, last night, wed, the Arsenal fmak4711 VEPR fom kvar. I preordered it a few weeks ago. My first "Russian" rifle. It is a sweet machine. Can't wait to...
It was me on armslist. I really appreciated the help. Excited to build! I don't know if you guys saw this, but Rifle Dynamics is taking early registr ations for next year's build classes in LV. Here's a screen shot of the info. Anyone plan on doing one of these? $2300
I found these brackets that hold a shotgun or rifle I guess....a long gun anyway and holsters for handguns between the box spring and mattress. That's what I have.
The sam7sf (side folder) 84 has a milled reciever and a folding stock, but it is heavy compaired to the SLR. They are both great rifles, you can't go wrong either way. If you can find an SLR107 for around $1000, you're good to go.
I purchased a Sam7-66, I think. It has the quad rail hand guard. Inititally, I wished I would have spent a little more on an SAM7SF-84. But I ended up buying that one too, but it sits in the safe, unfired for now. Sam7sf-84 Grab a gun for around 1290. The sam766 cost me $1300 from kvar. I...
SAM7 was the first AK I ever bought. Really great rifle even though it's a little heavy. Its action is the smoothest I've ever seen on an AK. It opened the door to spending thousands and thousands on other AKs bc I liked that one so much. Out of all my AKs, the sam7 is still my favorite to...
I like light ARs and I came across this chart. Thought it might be helpful for others trying to cut the oz's.

I don't know how to reload, so those who do, may want this. I have some, a 2 ft cardboard tube full of once fired Federal 556 Brass. I live in BA, 101 and Garnette and work in Tulsa at 71st and Riverside. Probably 200+ brass cases in good shape for being shot once out of an AR. If you want it...
How did your build turn out? Its been a while since I've been on here. 7 AKs later, I still would like to build my own. Hopefully I can get connected with someone who is interested in showing me how.
Thanks
