I voted tactical rifle, but with .22 only caveat.. .223 in-doors is not fun for anyone.

In the bigger matches, there is a different division for heavy metal optic which allows for auto shotgun and optics on the .308. We are not that big so we try to keep it traditional irons and pump, but like Curly said, bring what you got and shoot it. We will find a division for you! :)

And to pile on.. We have had at least one person shooting .308 and .45 with a pump at all of our matches at OKCGC since we started last year! :) Most matches are allowing other than 1911's now as long as they are downloaded.. Mike

For 77gr SMK's, I used 23.0gr of AA2460. It was a pretty good round, but my barrel did not like them. 1-8 is perfect for 55's and 69's IMHO and the 69's will whack just about any hog out there with the right shot.. PLEASE TAKE ALL OF THESE LOAD NUMBERS AS REFERENCE ONLY. START AT BOOK...

Can I shoot my M&P 9 in this match? It is a 5" but I shoot it really bad...

What do you plan to do with it? Let's start there. For a plinker round out to 300 with good accuracy, I like 22.5gr of AA2460 with any bulk 55gr fmj w/c. For more accurate loads, I use 25gr of 2460 or 24.5 of 8208xbr under a hornady fmj or even for more accurate, same powder over a Nosler...
