I just put an ERGO adjustable gas block on my 300 Blackout pistol build that I finished just the other day. I thought I had an extra adj gas block from MidAmerica Armament, but I didn't, so I hit up the new gun shop in Broken Arrow (Crusader Tactical). They hooked me up with the KAK Shockwave...
In my opinion, they are excellent gas blocks. I first saw MAA's adjustable gas block at last year's Wanenmacher's gun show here in Tulsa. I recognized their quick-release handguards because I almost purchased one for an AR pistol I wanted to build, and then my eye caught a huge tub of adjustable...
I run adjustable gas blocks on all of my AR's, but I get mine from MidAmerica Armament, which is an Oklahoma based company. Their adj. gas blocks are also under $40 and work great.
Okay, so a friend of mine asked me to help him with his form-1 can, so I agreed. I talked him into using the exact same parts that I used to build mine, because I wanted to try a different baffle spacing configuration on the first 4 baffles. I increased the spacing between cones 1-2, 2-3, and...
Well, the main reason I'm going with 300 Blackout is because I have so many extra AR parts and all I need is a barrel. I have a side-charging upper from Bear Creek Arsenal that I want to use for this pistol. I highly recommend these side-charging uppers! I have one of these on my DMR — you can...
WOW! $160 for that Faxon barrel? I almost always go stainless or melonite, but I nearly always get a heavy barrel. I don't have any gov. profile barrels on any gun that I own, so this would be a first. But, if the weight savings is noticeable, especially after I put another 14 ounces on the end...
Yes, I will be running an adjustable gas block. I run them on all my AR's, regardless of build. At some point, I almost always end up putting a can on the end of my guns.
OKay, it looks like I'm going to be building a 300 Blackout pistol. I sold my AR in 300 Blackout cause it had a 16" barrel and was difficult to suppress (the subs weren't staying subs). It was the first AR-15 that I built, and I didn't really know any better cause I was still learning. I had...
I went to a friend's house last night and brought all of my cans. I have a 1.5" OD / 1.350" ID titanium form 1 can, and it was in this can that the .223 and 300 Blackout rounds were going supersonic. I also have a 1.765" OD / 1.480" ID titanium + aluminum form 1 can which obviously has much more...
Here is the 60 grain .223 subsonic offered by Beck Ammunition: http://beckammunition.com/ammunition/.223-Rem/223-rem-subsonic-60gr-v-max-subsonic-new.html
Hey guys. Been a long time since I posted. Hope everyone is doing good.
I have an issue with a couple different types of ammo. I am shooting 300 Blackout subsonic rounds (220 grain) through a 16" barrel with a 7.5" suppressor. The report from the muzzle is very quiet, but I'm still getting a...
I'm glad that I can actually buy .22WMR now. I went into Academy the other day, and the end cap was full of many different kinds of CCI 22 mags. Happy happy happy
Wow Primary Arms is really having some good sales.
Vortex Optics Crossfire II 4–12x40 AO Riflescope, V-Plex Reticle = $99 (I have one of these. Amazing optic)
Rise Armament Black Fallout RA-140 Super Sporting Trigger = $79.99 (the cheapest I've EVER seen this trigger was for $105)
I know! Me too. It's very hard not to "pull the trigger" on so many good deals. I just wish the price of 300 Blackout 220 grain subs would plummet so I can max out my credit cards lol
My bad....I found the link for the $29.9 LPK's. Here it is: http://www.primaryarms.com/anderson-manufacturing-lower-receiver-parts-kit-223-5-56-am-556-lw-parts-kit
it appears they have run out of the Anderson LPK's for $29.99. Looks like the price went back up to $49.99. They had a deal like this about a year or so ago. I purchased half a dozen Anderson LPK's for $30/ea, and I still have 3 left.
