My Tisas Service came with two Mecgar magazines. No issues after 100 or so 230 grain powder coated reloads. I did put a dab of white finger nail polish on the front sight.
We live in wagoner county. RWD4 switched our meters to digital 5 years or so back. New meters increased water pressure for us and a few of our neighbors. Bursts pipes and several leaks. The majority of the homes were built 40 years ago.
I don't think anyone has brought this up yet, when you do start loading your own, take notes.
Keep a spiral, or a three ring binder. Write down the date, caliber, primer used, OAL, powder used, how many grains of powder, what bullet, bullet weight. Then once you put your reloads into a storage...
Nothing wrong at all with starting out on a 550. The 550 can be used as a single stage, then as you get comfortable, you can use it as a progressive.
