Custom-size basic shower doors in Tulsa area?

I actually ordered a Basco through the Lowes in BA last year for a shower remodel. I used the website to find the exact model I wanted, took the dimensions to to the store and it was a breeze.

Building 24" AR in 223 to shoot 1000yds. Scope Suggestions?

3000 FPS muzzle velocities aren't uncommon with 5.56 chamberings. M855 clones are in the 3100 FPS range from a 20" BBL and M193 clones are actually in the 3200 FPS range from a 20" BBL. The heavier stuff, such as MK262 is down in the 2600-2700 FPS range, however.

Installing quad rail on pinned 14.5 upper

It's only a waste if you're happy with the 2 piece design and are willing to limit yourself to 2 piece systems; thereby excluding some of the best FF rail options available such as KAC, Larue, and DD's other designs. The 2 piece rails hold no advantage over single piece FF rails except for a...

Installing quad rail on pinned 14.5 upper

There is also nothing stopping you from removing (i.e. cutting) the pinned flash suppressor and FSB to install a FF rail as normal. You will simply have to replace/pin/weld a new flash suppressor on the barrel. Adco can do all of this for you. http://www.adcofirearms.com/

    Cutting 16" barrel to 14.5" on AR-15

I think I mis-interpreted the M4 part of your previous post.... To Garand's point, your ammo selection will make a bigger difference in how 'well' your BDC works than the difference in a 14.5 or 16" barrel if that is your primary concern. The ballistics table I have floating around here shows...

    Cutting 16" barrel to 14.5" on AR-15

You might consider a CMMG 14.7" upper or barrel if you're going for an 'M4gery' on a Title I lower. The added .2" allows for the use of a standard A2 flash suppressor to be pinned and welded for the required 16" OAL. Two friends have them and love them, and they are virtually indistinguishable...

    What AR Optics to buy

Aside from money, it comes down to what you want to do with the rifle. Both the ACOG and Aimpoint are combat optics, not precision bench rest optics. With that said, I run both and love them equally for their intended uses... The Aimpoint, and the CompM2's 4MOA dot in particular, is great for...

    Ar-15 Gas Block Question

Go for broke and do it right :D 1. Ditch the MOE handguard 2. Install low profile gas block 3. Install KAC carbine or midlength URX (FF rail that contains an integral flip up front sight) 4. Throw on your choice of BUIS 5. Enjoy sweet, sweet setup Imagine this with a little more barrel...

    It has arrived!!

And that would be most bad ass bicycle ever...just imagine pedaling to the range draped in belts of ammo, your M60 slung over your back, and the biggest Mango-Bango Slurpee available on the free market in your meaty little paw.

    looking for an ar barrel.

Sounds like a dimpled barrel to me too. KAC has some freakishly bad ass setups that include them. Adco dimples barrels, and there is a member on AR15.com (SR-47) that dimples them as well. I believe that they each use a slightly different pattern.

    AimPoint or EOtech?

Having used both, I prefer the Aimpoint to the EOTech. I have a CompM2 that I love. The controls are much easier and quicker to access as opposed to the buttons on the HWS, and it is a single knob for all functions rather than 3 buttons (NV models). A BUIS can further complicate access to...

    AR-15 conversion ?'s

I used a Dremel and jeweler's rouge on both of mine and I run them both dry. I polished all the wear surfaces, feed ramp, and chamber. I was using a teflon dry film lube for a while, but noticed no difference running it completely dry.

    AR-15 conversion ?'s

First off...get one...they are well worth the money. Spikes, CMMG, or Ciener with BDM mags. I currently run a Spikes (and love it) and previously wore out a Ciener. Both of them run (or ran in the case of the Ciener) like sewing machines after they had a 15 minute polish job. I've shot the...

    Operation Moshtarak Pics

You're 99% correct...The L110A1/L108A1 and the M249 and its variants are both based on the FN Minimi design. There are actually quite a few other adaptations of the design in use around the world as well.

    So much for absolute reliability!

As a highly decorated 9-star internet commando I'm not buying this about a Glock. Everyone on teh internets knows they run like sewing machines up until the point they explode. You have misidentified your double feed..., I proffer that it was actually a stovepipe due to a weak wrist and...

    Kahr P9 vs K9 vs CW9

My everyday carry is a K9 in a Don Hume IWB and I absolutely love it. It strikes a very nice balance for me, as the weight is more than acceptable for an all steel gun (which I'm biased to over polymer) and the setup is extremely comfortable and easily concealable. At the same time the pistol...

    two piece M4 handguard recommendation

I'm a bit of a KAC fan-boy...I mean loyalist...but regarding the price of KAC gear; KAC engages in a colossal amount of R&D efforts and as a result has been the first to manufacture a lot of what we now see produced and 'copied' in one way or another by other companies. Accordingly, they...

    two piece M4 handguard recommendation

The question is not why the KAC is more expensive, but how can the other crap be so cheap? R&D is expensive.
