If you ever watch the 1985 movie Silver Bullet, based on a novel written by Steven King, look for the sign in the hardware store window for the single and double action shotguns for sale. Later in the movie, listen carefully when the old gun store owner describes making a real silver bullet...
I was asked to help find the best way to sell 3 older firearms for a family friend. Where would be a good place to sell considering these could have some collector interest? I don't have them in my possession, but can pass on questions or suggestions.
Two are Remington 22 rifles, both...
I think many of the surplus M16A1's get converted to semi-only by the police department armorer before being issued for "patrol rifle" duty. IIRC it eases the paperwork requirements and reduces liability.
Do what you need to be comfortable with it, but condition 1 (chamber loaded, hammer back, thumb safety on) is the only way I'll carry a 1911 pattern pistol. Anything less negates the advantage of a quick, single-action first shot that comes with the 1911 pistol design.

I prefer the 870 platform, but will setup both types as "cruiser ready" which means all I have to do is pump the shotgun and start pulling the trigger. My preference is a semi-auto shotgun, but I grew up shooting pump shotguns and they feel natural to me. Pump/semi,whatever, you don't want to...
I'd look for an improved cylinder choke tube for general buckshot, close bird hunting, and (non-sabot) slug shooting. If you want to also shoot birds or clay pigeons at longer ranges, you will want a modified and/or full choke tubes as well.
You definitely need a choke installed to protect the threads in the barrel. Improved cylinder is a historical favorite for buckshot and slug loads. It would not hurt to try a modified choke as well.
OK, I screwed up my original post. No one's fault but my own....
First, what is the minimum you'd sell a P-mag for?
Second, what is the most you'd pay for a P-map?
With those 2 numbers, an exchange market could statrt. Some want to sell, others want to buy. Surely, a deal can be found...
There needs to be two polls. First, what is the minimum you would you pay for a P-mag? Second, what is the maximum you would acceopt to sell a P-mag? After establishing the "spread" on this product, then the real buying and selling can proceed.
