around here all most all oaks drop their leaves. usually be thanksgiving it's getting pretty bare. this year may be a little later since the cool weather just now started. we have alot of white oak, post oak and black jack where we hunt. after a couple more freeze's they will really start...
this afternoon after ti had rained for awhile you could really see the colors on the side of mountains coming from mcalester south back to talihina. it's really getting pretty now. but the leaves are starting to fall pretty good. the rain has knocked a lot off today. when everything dries back...
ok after the hard freeze this weekend colors are starting to show. by this weekend it should be really going strong. cedar creek said it is starting across the mountain south towards broken bow. i was from poteau to mcalester today and some of the mountains through that area are starting to show...
i live just south of talihina. it will be a couple weeks before the colors really get good that is if we get some cooler weather or some frost. last year it was the first and second week of november before it reached the god peak colors.
i new at one time they were considering changing some of the rules on this. i try to keep up with the new changes but everything i have found is still dated 2012. thanks i was just making sure i didn't miss something.
the sad part sda is that nbc proably would not air it.to many tv stations for gun control.if they ever start banning mags and calibers we are in deep trouble.
