H&H wanted ~$1150 for an 18" FN SLP, ouch! I called OPS and found a 21" SLP Mk1, the gun I was after when I found the 18", for $900 OTD.
No, they do not have the best prices.

This is what some guys were using. $.78 each.
That's not that expensive now that I think about it.
1 slug on paper = 2 rifle/pistol hits on paper.
Good brass ammo is $.35-$.40/rd, so it's pretty reasonable.
Can we use more slugs next time?
IIRC, that's the only time NFA (autos, shortys/cans I dunno about) weapons have been used in defense and the user to not have been hung up with legal battles.
There is another incident on the books with a guy sporting an AC556, but I don't think it turned out so well.
Maybe. It's been a while since I shot IPSC so it would be a nice refresher.
Not to sound like a total noob, but is there a match with shotguns only? I'm going to assume the high plains challenge, but is there anything else? It's becoming my favorite part of 3g.
Thanks again for everyone involved in the shoot, it was a blast.
I'm going to practice more weakhand reloads and diving to the prone position. lol
Pinto- I forgot you wanted to shoot my shotgun, I'll let you shoot next time if you still want.
Not sure if I'll make the gear seminar like I thought, but I'll be at the match.
I'm not sure what gear I'll be wearing, I just know there will be lots of it.
