IIRC, that's the only time NFA (autos, shortys/cans I dunno about) weapons have been used in defense and the user to not have been hung up with legal battles. There is another incident on the books with a guy sporting an AC556, but I don't think it turned out so well.

Maybe. It's been a while since I shot IPSC so it would be a nice refresher. Not to sound like a total noob, but is there a match with shotguns only? I'm going to assume the high plains challenge, but is there anything else? It's becoming my favorite part of 3g.
