They're fun little rifles but you really have to ration the ammo.
I bought mine at gunshow around 2008. I got really lucky right off the bat, came down the next isle rifle in hand and got flagged down by a guy that was selling a spare mag and a partial crate of ammo.
Just need a ZF41 and put a finish on the metal bits to make it look period. I'm thinking about changing the brake to something like a Cutts compensator on a FG 42

Its a good looking rifle. Fairly heavy just like the original.

Its a muzzle brake. I went alittle overboard because I was worried about the recoil on a 16'' 8mm. Needless to say, but it is extremely loud.
The mag works alright, On the last five rounds it sometimes tilts. I need to modify the follower to fix it.
Never sporterized one myself. But I have turned sporters into something I think is neat.
