Lifted 4 straight days last week for the first time in months. Took all 3 days this weekend to fully recover. Back at it today(even taking the day off work for my bday), and hit it even harder than I did last week. Feel absolutely awesome. Definitely missed this feeling.
My PC hasn't had a dime spent on it in 2+ years and most of the hardware is 4-6 years old, and my system runs like a champ. 99.9999999% of issues people have with Windows is their own doing. That's not an attack, it's just fact. I'm not saying Windows doesn't have issues, but most of them are...
Run, hide, fight is what we're taught in the mil. The vast majority of us are not armed at work, so it makes sense in our case. I fly a desk at work, so if an active shooter scenario unfolds, I will lock my office door and push a desk up against it and wait it out. I'll let the security forces...
I'm the total opposite when it comes to tech stuff I guess. I ditched apple years ago for Android and haven't regretted it a bit. I like tinkering with stuff, always have. Built my first PC when I was 12 or 13. I've been running Win 10 for a little while and I've been happy with it. Only issue I...
I'm going to be THAT guy and make a 2016 resolution to get back into shape. I was a 5 days a week at the gym guy for years, but it fell off dramatically after my wife gave birth, then jacked her knee up. I can definitely tell a difference in how I feel. I've gained some flab around the middle...
Their store front got shot up the other night and they think the same people were milling around chiefs house and got spooked when he walked outside. They have a $5000 reward for whoever identifies the people.

Then that was my ignorance of the nuances of the law. I read it as him wanting to buy it as a gift, but if that wasn't EXACTLY the case then yeah, you guys are right.
Is it any different than buying it as a gift? Was he willingly buying it knowing that his brother couldn't legally possess firearms? I don't see how it's a strawman purchase. Sounded more like a gift purchase to me.
Surgery was successful. She's home now. In a lot of pain, but the ride home definitely pushed the pain through the medicine. She'll be able to load back up in a few minutes and hopefully get back on top of it. Appreciate all the thoughts. This is the first step in a tough road, but we'll get her...
Wife fell skating on Sunday and broke her knee cap, basically in half. She's scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning very early. Wasn't the best time, with a 10 week old baby at home, but when is it ever a good time to break a knee cap? Happy thoughts will be appreciated. She'll be able to walk...
Very nice! My grandfather brought one back from WWII and it was inherited by my uncle who passed, so his son has it. Unfortunately, he has it. He only calls family when he wants something. Probably won't ever actually see it again. It was in amazing condition.
Everybody in the AF has different arming groups. The vast majority of us have to fire a few small % of hits to qualify. Simulated ranged targets, basically smaller targets to simulate 100-300 yards, plus closer range stuff. I'm arming group 'C' and we only qualify before we deploy for a...
Shook everything in our office on the 3rd floor of the building we work in. Thought it might have been the quarry down the road, but when the wife called from down south about it, it definitely wasn't blasting.
