I lost my job to a YouTube prank channel called okcpranks.

Nope, don’t touch the 401k! Work overtime, second job, sell plasma, whatever to buy a gun. When you get my age you will be glad you left the 401k alone.

    Testing Loads on trapped swine

We butchered our own livestock (pigs, lamb, chickens, beef). When I was a teenager my dad decided to butcher a heifer that was sterile. He got all the necessary tools in the truck and parked it under a large walnut tree. Tied the fence stretcher to a limb, the other end of it to a single tree...

Famous, or infamous, things your parents said.

My dad when questioning why I did something. Me: "I thought......" Dad: "You thought, when you should have been thinking!" Never made any sense to me. He was a mean ba$tard. Never gave advice but would always say: "I could have told you that was a mistake!" A lot of good it did me after the...

I need a surveyor. And a pond digger for my new backyard.

For a foundation, I would recommend shale. Then have a vibratory sheep foot to roll and pack it. Do it is lifts (layers) of 6-9 inches. Pack each lift with the sheep foot. My shop is on a slope and I had about 6' of shale brought in and packed down. I later went to install the sewer and water...

New tractor project - making my own rear remotes

I used a similar valve when I added third function to the front of my loader. The third function allows me to operate the grapple (open and close). The new valve is located below the joy stick and allows me to switch to the back quick connects. I then use the same function to tilt the box blade...

    Insecticide for farm house.

Do like the lady from Coweta? Catoosa? did a few years ago. She set off 13 bug bombs at one time in her mobile home. She got to her car before a pilot light ignited the gas. It blew that trailer to pieces. She spent some time in the hospital and was questioned by the authorities about blowing up...

    Dirt

While in high school I worked for a farmer running an Alison 180 diesel tractor. Plowing and disking hundreds of acres. After high school I worked for him running a bull dozer. For many years after that, if I smelled fresh dirt I smelled diesel, even when there was no diesel present. It's funny...

Woman killed by bear after spraying it with bear spray.

I've been told that if you take a .44 Mag revolver to Alaska for brown bear defense to be sure to remove the front site...... So that after you empty the pistol and the bear takes it away from you.......it won't hurt so bad when it shoves it up your butt!

Need some advice on a metal shop/garage..

I started out looking at a 30x40 then went to 40x60. I laid out on a drawing what I really needed and ended up buying a 40x75 with a 15x75 lean-to on each side. After the concrete was poured I walked around the slab and thought. "hmmmm....you know this looks small.....should have gone to a...
