    Crime in Great Britain

I used similar stats against an anti-gunner on another forum. He kept claiming GB had lower gun crime after the bad and quoted some number. Well, his number was correct, however what he didn't show was the number was exactly the same pre-ban (1997 in GB). And of course he left out the huge...

    price gouging and sellers market.

I agree that most of the "gouging" isn't really that. Supply and demand at work. I didn't raise prices on my mags and I did sell them pretty quick. Supply however is non-existant, at least through my two distributors. And that isn't even just for AR or AK mags, they are out of almost every mag...

    Gun dealers aren't gouging

Try buying magazines. I sold my last pmag this morning and both of my distributors are clean out of ANY brand of ar-style magazine they carry. Magpul is on an allocation basis only right now.

    The Post-Newtown Witch Hunt----Michelle Malkin

Amazing how they can spew their hatred and calls for violence and no one seems to care. If a single Tea Party person did that it would be headline news everywhere.

What kind of powder and bullets do you like?

I think I know exactly which one you are talking about. If it is the same one, it looks like it was painted recently. Building doesn't face squarely to the road, kind of face north a bit?

Ruger announces new firearm to honor the Wisconsin union strike.

If you saw the post above you'll see that I did say there are those who do their jobs well and still get fired or layed off. It happens. It sucks. I know. I too have lost a job because a company had their head up their a$$. You still missed the point completely.

Ruger announces new firearm to honor the Wisconsin union strike.

How dignified. My job was once shipped over seas too. I didn't whine and complain about it, I move on to another company. They don't owe you anything beyond your paycheck and whatever benefits you signed up for.

Ruger announces new firearm to honor the Wisconsin union strike.

no I'm not. Yes there are those that get layed off and I'm sure some people do get fired for little reason, but for the most part good people keep their jobs and bad people don't; as a general rule. Even if some moron keeps their job, the biggest difference is the company actually has the...

What kind of powder and bullets do you like?

probably for a reason lol... I personally live on the east side of BA, so coweta is a very short drive. Every time I drive down that way (Roy's Chicken is awesome....) I look at all the shops along 51 and think "that would be a good spot... ooh, that one there is open.."

What kind of powder and bullets do you like?

Thanks guys :) As I mentioned, initially it will be online only, but I'll definitely figure out a means of locally pickup to get around the hazmat and shipping charges. I've even toyed with the idea of having free shipping for Oklahoma customers, but we'll see. A full storefront costs rent, so...

What kind of powder and bullets do you like?

Any particular brands you like or does it matter? I've done some research and it seems some brands have better quality control than others so I would probably choose them first, but whatever the customers want is what I'll get!

What kind of powder and bullets do you like?

The store will be online initially, with a brick and motor store to follow sometime later when I get the FFL. I hadn't thought of stock J&K's stuff. I've been to their site though so I am aware of them. Might have to have a talk with them :)

What kind of powder and bullets do you like?

I'm going to be getting some inventory for the soon-to-be released site(store) and I've heard several suggestions for including reloading supplies. So, what brands of powder and bullets would you like to see carried? Initially I'd like to carry items with mass appeal so I know they will...

Ruger announces new firearm to honor the Wisconsin union strike.

I loved how one of those teachers up there was on TV complaining about how without their "rights" the schools or state could fire them at any time for whatever reasons. Boohoo! Welcome to the real world where the only people who get fired are the ones who aren't doing their jobs.

    Finally got the AR zeroed

So after having it almost a year and only firing it once last summer, I finally took my AR up to happy hollow and got the thing zeroed in. Funny thing was I thought I had it perfect, then started shooting at these 1" circles that came on the sticky targets I got at the range. it was all over...

    Japan Nuke issues..

I'm surprised no one yet has seen the real causes of those explosions. Most of the media I've seen seems to skim over the cause. It is caused by hydrogen from the sea water coming into contact with the outside air, causing an explosion. They knew it was most likely to happen, but they needed to...

Banks Looking to Limit Debit Card Purchases to $50-$100

I don't agree really. I use my debit card for almost everything so if I'm limited to a $500 max transaction, that hurts me big time as the few credit cards I do have are low limit. However, every bank I've used has had a $400 max cash withdraw per day, which I'm ok with.

Government Forcing Gas Prices Up So We Go Green?

A couple things to consider here. One is that depending on the type of green vehicle, it may require lots of rare earth minerals which we don't have. So instead of being dependent on the middle east we become dependent on countries like China which has some of the largest rare earth minerals on...

Government Forcing Gas Prices Up So We Go Green?

I'm glad you made this statement. Blaming speculators is just as bad as blaming the rich for making people poor or other scapegoat scenarios. People don't realize just how big and important the commodity markets are.
