125 guns offered in auction in McAlester.

IMHO, most of the stuff went very reasonable, to actually cheap. The only things I thought went high was the ammunition. I got a box with a full plus about half another M1 rifle for a great price. Just had to sit thru the whole thing for sure. On the BM, was it that high, I was the second...

125 guns offered in auction in McAlester.

Ok, went to this auction, the ssn was not required on the form, they did not call them in, they wanted you to attest you were able to buy a firearm, thats all, technally it was a pvt sale. On the m1a with bipod, it was a bm-59, thus went for more than I was willing to go to, I let it go too...

$31 of pot gives mom 10-year-prison, No prior

Note: The reason they got the harsh sentances, was commission of crime infront of chilldren(and in some ways invloveing them in selling drugs). What would we all say if they had been jacked of money in a armed crime by a less than nice customer. Thus not just a corner dealer with a dime...

    Cleaning live ammo

Visited a high volume commerical remanafacturer and they used tumblers to do the final finish to clean the ammo up before shipping. That said, it would depend on how full is the case when finished. Just would not excessively tumble it.

Traditional Bow Shoot at McAllister Army Ammo?

I work there and they are serious about the rules, but things like the shoot's and the traditional hunt are great. More wildlife than you will see anywhere. Thus you play by the rules and get chances to bag sone nice wildlife. Heck as for the rest, you should see what it takes to go anywhere...

    Ruger 10/22 Question

I think it was ramline that had at one time a stock extension, that would fit in place of the buttplate. http://www.tacticalinc.com/1022-recoil-stock-extension-p-517.html wont vouch for the retailer but I just found this

Dumb question: How do YOU inspect the bore condition

Counter boreing was done on alot of Nagant rifles, due to chrosive ammo, and lack of cleaning during the war. The salts in the primers, attracted moisture especally near the muzzle, pitting the end of the rifling. The Soviets then when taking the rifles back to war reserve, the counter bored...

    McAlester Gun Club anyone?

Ya, 24 a year, plus if the membership stays up, you get the Christmas dinner and range time for that too. Anyone near McAlester needing a place to shoot should look into it, you can get application at All Pawn and I think H&L's and be shooting the same day.

    Taiwanese M16

From what I understand, Colt has patents on the M4 systems, but not the general rifle, thus why everyone and their mother makes one now. As for the Taiwan(ROC), I imagine they may have rights to build them. I think when norinco(PRC) was gearing up to make them, they wernt licenced for...

    Tresspassing Poachers

Guess a tire shreader might be in order as its your property, and they have no reason to be there, after all they had to tear down a gate.

    Back from Big Mac

On the kill there, I saw one that size today crossing the road, at the plant. Thr rules are there, heck if I break one I can lose my job. Thus you play by the rules for sure. But they grow them big here, with little stress.

Anybody Laid Hands on S&W's New 22LR AR?

Synthetic lower, I think the stock was intergrated into the lower, and not interchangeable with ar stuff as much as the colt. I didnt look at the thing enough to see if you can accesorize with ar stuff.

    Federal Firearms Registry and 4473's

But we do keep rights from those convicted of many crimes. Remember you used to lose the right to vote, if convicted of a felony and even dishonrable discharge from the army, and there are other examples of your "freedoms" if you feel they are such being restricted. Remember we all have basic...

Check out this rifle I stole..

Theres a huge collectablity on remingtion built rifles, I imagine the stock is marked though, and thru identificaion of mold marks or other id's you should be able to tell. Just twenty years ago these were toss around guns, but with the former owners now reaching ages where they cash can drive...

    Whats a fn fal/l1a1 worth?

On buying it, if you want a fal its the right receiver if the it says IMBEL. On the us parts, I would do a check as the receiver cover I dont think is a numbered part for compliance. Thus do the research to ensure compliance with 922. Just my two cents on this though.

    Federal Firearms Registry and 4473's

Well when a gun dealer closes all records go to the AG, thus the bound books (which have all of the data in them too and are kept forever)and any 4473's in retention never go away(4473's are I believe are kept for 20 years). They way they find stuff is to search, search and search. I am not...

Need some help with CC in a law office

Dont they make some planners that will hold a ccw for use too out there. That might be a option for to and from work also, along with use in locking up in the office. Guess oh to be a purse carrier and have so many more options.

    Will Rogers World Airport carry

I think you could get an opnion, but I imagine that law has been tested before, thus what good is the ag, saying its the law gonna get you, there are places where you are banned from carrying, this isnt a private property issue, where stores ban you. Sounds like there is a law on the books.

    Trust questions

Question if any one knows, I believe you have to have a seperate trust for each item, or am I mistaken? Can more than one item be in a single trust?
