i highly recommend the msf course and if you take it both tests are waived. If not you do a written test and a drive test. doing an apt is much easier for each. inlineonline.ok.gov if you are under 18 the msf course is required. if no apt then expect a wait. times at my office are sometimes over...

as far as led lantern i have the streamlight one off amazon and its been amazing. charged it once and i've been using it for months with no re charge. fishing, kids playing all sorts of stuff.
I contacted a warden once about sitting on an atv and hunting or sitting in a side x side and he said as long as its stationary and not running and your just using it as a seat/blind it was fine. camo tarps and a side x side make a good warm spot to hide from the wind.
I did. Very late on the second day south and west of the visitor center near the lake. I killed the only cow elk i seen while hunting. Total on the refuge while hunting i only seen 1 bull and 1 cow. and covered about 9 miles.
I'm on my second lcp. If I could pocket carry a 9mm I would. but until then my trusty stainless lcp goes everywhere.
