Found it! I had stored the trimmer in a better place, right on a open shelf, in plain sight. I feel better now.

I use the RCBS trimmer. It's mounted to a piece of 3/8" X 4" angle iron. I chuck it up in my vise and crank away. Slow, but it works good. As I'm looking around here in my reloading room, I don't see it. It's hard to miss, what with being mounted to that iron. Now I gotta' go look for it! :oops3:

I bought a DPMS LR 10 a year or so ago. It's my first .308 that isn't a bolt gun. It has a 24" S/S heavy barrel. The damn thing weighs around 12.5 pounds scoped, but it's a very good rifle. It's not a good rifle to shoot off hand, but prone with a bipod or a back pack, or shooting rested on a...

I would look for a AR15. There are many out there that will fit your budget. A Center Point scope from WalMart is inexpensive and works well, if you spend more on the rifle than you wanted to. It's easy to upgrade scopes as you get the money.

What dennis said. Mobil 1 is my lube of choice for firearms. I like to keep the bolt in my AR's wet, dripping wet during break in, and well lubed after that.

Well, I'll be damned. i never knew that. Guess I've not ever thought about it. Right is right! I haven't had any trouble with the PMAGS, though.
