My opinion, universal no-strings tax credit for not enrolling in the public system. Period. Where a person stands on REAL school choice will tell you a lot.
Regarding "lawyer's don't know about education": I don't' have to BE a lawyer to know that I wouldn't like to be essentially forced...
I wholeheartedly support this resolution, but I would not count on Speaker Hickman. IN fact, it might be a good idea to put pressure on your Reps to un-elect him as Speaker in May.
Yes, it's stupid, but when you have high profile celebrities who are passionately against "gun violence" but somehow seem to be immune to the laws on the books, you can still appreciate the utter hypocrisy.
See also Sean Penn. He would in theory be barred from possession under Lautenberg...
Why, you are all very welcome!
kroberts, I can only imagine. At FDC school, they always used to threaten us that is we washed out of fire control, we would be sent to 0811 Cannoneer school. THE HORROR. :D
Ok, I didn't mean to conflate the price controls put on specific products like milk with the more general issue of direct payments, etc referred to in the Cato report. It's an entirely separate form of meddling when the .gov sets a price floor and then helps enforce it by throwing tariffs on...

More of the same old "cuts" that SHOULD read "Cuts to what we were wanting to spend"
I just wish people who did serve would find some pride in the job they ACTUALLY did, instead of embellishing past the point of sanity.
I was 0844 Field Artillery Fire Control. I ran a computer and came up with firing solutions for M198 howitzers during the Gulf War. Sine it was the USMC...
We had numerous Iraqis trying to surrender to our FO team (3 Marines) back in 1991.
Also, every Navy guy I ever met in a bar was a SEAL. There must be 142 SEAL teams by my count.
Tribal police are often cross-deputized with the local County, as I have read elsewhere on the forum. If acting in that capacity, however, the fines would have to go to the County if the infraction occurred in a non-tribal jurisdiction. Or so I would assume.
I should hope not. I suppose we could, at the State level, pass a law forbidding local enforcement of or compliance with GFSZA, similar to what we did with REAL ID.
