I had a run in with them a couple years back at a gun show and wrote them an email over it. Me and another OSA'er were there and I went to their table to buy a sling attachment. He chewed me out as one of those "dumb" people who build their own guns without getting everything they needed off the...
Exactly, just trying to win a mental war right now. Read an article earlier about that crazy arsonist who murdered those firefighters and they mentioned it was a .223 caliber military rifle like the one used at the school massacre in Conn. Twisting the truth but they are winning the war in the...
It's like one person said in the article. It's mutually bad. it's bad for gun owners because you know they're going to be targets of antigun lobbyists, but it's also a map for criminals.

Good ole freedom of information act. Sorry if this is a repost
They had me drop off a full box of the rounds I would be hunting with. I can't imagine it would just be a boresighting if they were doing that. I will definately keep this post saved and let everyone know how it works.
No I'm well aware of that. Just wondering if anyone knew the process or had them do it. The gun I got has lots of people claiming 1 moa and many times a little better. Just not sure how they transfer the program to dialing in the scope. I'm not going to be able to shoot it to test it before I go...
Yeah, I dropped it off and pick it up wednesday. They say its normally next day but this time of the year takes longer. It was at the gunsmithing counter if that helps. I would rather do it myself, but time is hard to come by right now, all I have free is the weekends and I have a wife and 3...
Yeah, I'm not sure if they do that or what. This has more to do with trying to find time to get out there. I work in the day and go to school m-th in the evenings. I don't mind paying to do it if they do it well. If I get an oppurtunity at shooting a deer, I don't want to worry about whether or...
I bought a new rifle scope (savage 111 with nikon 3-9bdc) a month ago and have only been able to get it close. I went to H&H and they said they have a sight in service for rifles for $50. Anybody else done this before? Good or bad? Would love to do it myself but time makes it difficult to get to...
100% agree with this. With a good gun, shouldn't matter with lint. When I had my taurus TCP, i checked it every few weeks. With my xdm, not really worried about it.
Good points, I'd like to get both, I do have a .22lr and shotgun, but would like to upgrade one of the two. I've watched some youtube videos that give good reasons for buying either. I'd like to get both, but money says one or the other.
I've got an old shotgun that is a 2+1 that I'm thinking of updating to something along the line of a mossberg 500 combo with the 18" and 28" barrel. Kind of serves the hunting and home defense roll plus holds more shells.
Other thing I'm looking at is a ruger 10/22 or some type of "tactical"...
Just trying to get some opinions on caliber. I'm leaning towards the 30-06. Area's I go hunting I want something that I can shoot out to 400 yards (don't ever see shooting beyond that. Besides the 30-06, I've heard alot about the 7mm-08, and 25-06. Recoil is not a big deal to me, but if you...
