Me and my uncle have been trying to locate a range where we can shoot 400 to 1000 yards somewhere around south central Ok. We live in Madill so anywhere from Durant to Ardmore area would be great. We would be willing to compensate someone for the use of a private range if need be. I figured...
I have been eyeballing this rifle for a little while and can pick one up for around $1400 +tax. Anyone have experience with this or would I be better off spending that money on a different rifle. This will mainly be a range gun and maybe see a few hunts per season where it won't have to be...
Just thought that I would reintroduce myself as it has been awhile since I have been on here. I love close to lake texoma outside of Madill, Om. Not to far from Durant. I enjoy shooting a variety of different calibers and reloading for a few of them.
anyone have some good starting loads for 150gn bullets. I have tried a few different factory ammo's out of this rifle. The federals were all over the place. Tried win super x 150 gn and the shoot about 1 moa. the rifle is a savage 111 with a nikon scope sitting on it.

There is also the red river on the ok/tx border. I do pretty good there. Probably going to give it a shot in the next few weeks, after some crappie fishing though.
