Gents. I'm currently deployed and will once again miss an entire hunting season. I won't be back until Feb. I'd like to do some hunting but realize that deer will be out. Where can I hunt pigs or coyotes within an hour of OKC? I don't want to pay to hunt either. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not much within an hour - maybe American Horse Lake, or private land in Grady, Blaine, Logan, McClain, or Lincoln County. Everything else is 1 hour 15 minutes or more.

Open it up to 1.5 hours and you've got Ft. Cobb, Deep Fork, Chickasaw Nat'l Recreation Area, Canton, etc.

That's pigs; coyotes - anywhere. Lexington, younameit.

Thanks gentlemen. I'd be open to 1.5 hours too. I'd make a day of it anyway. It's better than the close to 3 hours with nothing to show for it. And we're talking public land right?
