Just an FYI.
If you have out of state family or friends that fish Oklahoma much or plan to in coming years. Oklahoma currently has a non resident fishing license. But it goes away forever as of December 31st.

Cost is only $275. This is a bargain. After the 1st of the year Oklahoma will no longer offer this license and the regular Oklahoma non resident yearly fishing license will go up to $55.

Page 4 is where it says it is no longer available as of Jan 1st 2011

But it is still available till Dec 31st by mail or by phone.

Might make a good christmas present for relatives or friends. And it might encourage them to visit more often. It would especially be a good deal for any out of state kiddos.

I bet pretty soon they'll do away with all lifetime licenses. They'll make more money that way, and the ODWC are some money hungry people. Almost all of their license changed in the last few years have been for the sole purpose of bringing in more cash. I'm going to do my best to purchase my lifetime combo license next year.

I've been hearing for years that they are going to do away with the lifetimes. No results yet. I have mine but will be interesting to see if they will ever actually do away with it.
