Thanks! I picked up a box of Hornady yesterday and tried them and liked them.

Hornady Critical Defense 00 from 16`.

I fired the little .410 yesterday......

I`m real pleased with Hornady CD and the Winchester 000 but I doubt I`ll ever buy anymore Winchester PDX.

I tried out a few of these Military grade 00....not too bad from 21`. About 5$ for a box of 5. I think I will stick with Hornady's CD.

Hornady Critical Defence VS Hornady Super Performance
Both are 8 pellet 00 Buckshot.
I used a Maverick 88 and fired it from 21'.
Hornady Super Performance are about $13 for 10 shells.
Hornady Critical Defence are about $15 for 10 shells.

I took my little .410 out this afternoon for some fun...

Rossi Tuffy / 18 1/2" barrel

All shells fired from 21'

Hornady hit a little high....that`s the wading that hit out on the edge.

Winchester 000 are dead center, that`s the wading down low.

I never have been impressed with Winchester`s PDX, once get through this box I won`t waste any more money on them.

Yes ... Always pattern my Shotty. I know exactly what I'm going to hit at what distance

No ... Never pattern my Shotty. scatterguns only require being pointed in general direction
