It's exactly what is advertised, a small, light weight 20 gauge.
It acts exactly like that, small = easy to handle maneuvers very easy for an 9 year old.
Light weight = kicks ( a lot according to the nine year old).
But my biggest criticism it that it shoot really high with the shotgun barrel.
You have to hold 6-8" under clays to break them.
Anyone have an easy fix? For the shooting high, I mean.
