Get off my lawn.
Thought you guys might want to go to this. I remember several of you looking to shoot some MGs. Here's your chance.

Come out and have some fun!

The Full Auto/Machine Gun shoots at Heartland Gun Range have become a very popular event. It's on a Friday night, so it's a perfect time out with friends or someone special. The days of dinner and a movie have changed to dinner and bullet spray.

There is no charge to watch, $15 night pass to shoot from 6-10pm. After purchasing the night pass, you simply need to purchase ammunition from the gun range counter. They are not marking up their prices for this event. As prices go, this is about the cheapest opportunity to fire a machine gun; without joining the military.

Unlike what the media and politicians try to tell you, Machine Guns, Silencers, Short Barrel Shotguns and Short Barrel Rifles have been heavily regulated by the government since 1934. New registration of machine guns was halted in 1986. The values of those firearms have increased substantially in price since then. Because of this, most of the guns at the event are rare and worth more than the average car. For some people, this will be their only chance to shoot a real machine gun.

This is a family event. Please bring friends. We will have range officers at every lane to assist and supervise for safe operating of the firearms.

The current list of guns are as follows:

M249 SAW 5.56
HK51 .308
HK53 5.56
HK21 .308
HK23 5.56
HK UMP 40
HK MP5 9mm
HK MP5k 9mm
HK G36k 5.56
M4 5.56
M4 5.56 suppressed/unsuppressed
M4 9mm suppressed/unsuppressed
Glock 17 Select Fire 9mm
Uzi 9mm
AK47 7.62 Russian
AC556 5.56
FNH P90 5.7x28
PPSh-41 7.62x25

We will probably have more show up, but this is the confirmed list.

We are putting each of these firearms under EXTREME stress, firing full auto for a solid 4 hours. They will sometimes break. So please be understanding if a gun has not survived for your entertainment. We will get you in another machine gun. Everyone leaves with a smile!

Ammo Prices:
$15.99 - 50 rounds of 9mm
$19.99 - 50 rounds of 7.62x25
$19.99 - 50 rounds of .40
$22.99 - 50 rounds of .45
$12.50 - 30 rounds (1 magazine) of 5.56
$13.99 - 20 rounds of .308
$13.99 - 20 rounds of 7.62x39

Great idea, but... sixteen bucks for a box of 9mm ammo? I know they need to be the ones providing the ammo so no yahoos bring in some hot or steel-cored stuff, but still - that's steep. And when did .556 cost less than 7.62x39? I must be way out of the loop!

ETA: Just now read the part about the $15 night pass. If the quoted prices include the firing of the associated weapon, then it's a much better deal :D

That is what I was thinking. I would like to shoot a MG but I will be fine if I never do.
