Picked up my second MN from Honeybee today, and he mentioned something about one of you guys found some photos rolled up in the stock when you went to clean it? If so, I'd like to see them - cool bit of history. Just send me a PM if they might be of the "personal" girlfriend variety, and unsuitable for the forum. Very cool find.
Kinda, sort of related: Many years ago I inherited a 73 Winchester, .22 rimfire that my great uncle found in Minnesota. My dad and I began tearing it down to restore it and in the stock we found a note that said "Here lies Matt, 1906".
makes me wish i had some old guns to tear down, or look through.
I wouls also like to see pics, hell maybe I just need to start putting stuff in the stocks of my rifles....
