Hey guys,
I ordered a new Ruger LCR today in .357 as a backup gun to my 1911. I've never used a ankle holsterbefore. I'd like some ideas, comments, advice on what to not waste money on. I doubt I'll find a
Perfect match the first time, but I'd like to atleast get some examples to start with that have worked
well for you all.

Thanks in advance.

For the Smith & Wesson J Frames I suggest the Renegade model 500.

I have tried the Galco, Desantis, Alessi ankle holsters and prefer the Renegade to all others for the small 38s. With the Ruger being similar in size I would think it would also be a great holster to use.
My current Renegade is about 5 years old and still retains the revolver as good as it did new.
