Need to buy some black powder for reloading an 1887 Winchester 10 gauge lever shotgun

Hello,
anybody know in the OKC greater area where I can buy some real black powder from? About 2 lbs would do me for awhile as I dont intend to shoot the old beast much?

Bass Pro carries GoEx (at least the Tulsa store does). You'll just need to ask them for it since they don't keep it out with the substitutes.

It will work and I have used it in the past just want to use the good ole black stuff and see how the 10 gauge likes it

Bass Pro in OKC had the real stuff a few months back. With the cloud your going to make we will all know when you find it! :fullauto:

Yep, they work ok but when you're going to the trouble to load BP cartridges, you want 'em as authentic as possible. It's the way John Wayne woulda done it.

Edited update: It was Walter Matthau in the movie "The Survivors."

The "Repo Man" line I was thinking of was this (WARNING!!! MIGHT BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME):

I think C&J has real black powder, BTW. I might have a few cans of Elephant left that you can have, but if I do it's REALLY old.
