Ok guys I went out today to test out the loadout that I stated above, it worked great every round went down range, every primer was hit perfect no signs of pressure anywhere on the cases. However I did have this issue here, the cases were denting at the mouth after firing does anyone have an idea of why this would happen? Here are some pics of the primers, and what the cases look like after firing.

Lastly here is the picture of the target at 25 yards (the PA scope has not been sighted in yet), I was laying prone supporting with my elbows. I think this is going to be a great loadout once I get a few things worked out and the scope sighted in.

I've been getting set up to load a few. The strange thing (to me) about this round is the variance in OAL.

I picked up some 110g V-Max, h110 and CCI Mil primers. I'm wanting a good plunking supersonic round and the 110 looks pretty good. I'd like to switch to something more suitable for deer and pigs while sticking with a good bullet I can buy in bulk for loading .308s.

Does anyone have proven loads for 110 v-max and maybe 168?

It sounds like I want my cake and eat it too and for someone to feed it to me too and do the dishes.

Join up on 300 Blakout Talk's Forum there is a ton of load data there. I am currently getting ready to load 300 rounds of Hornady 150gr SP's, not sure what I will be loading after that.

I load for a "rimmed" version of the 300 BLACKOUT using Starline nickel plated 357 magnum brass in a break open single shot. Here is one of my favorite loads:

CASE: 357 magnum brass / rimmed version of 300 BLACKOUT...

PRIMER: Remington 7 1/2...

POWDER: Unique / 10.2 gr...

BULLET: Hornady 208 gr. A-MAX...

VELOCITY: 1,042 fps...

ACCURACY: (50 yds. / 1/4") - (100 yds. / 5/8") - (150 yds. / 1.0" to 1 1/4")...

Anybody loading the Hornady 150 gr SP's? I have found some info about them and the thing that has me a bit freaked out is the fact that my 150gr Sierra SP's are an OAL of 2.250" (+/- 0.006) and the Hornady's to get to the interlock on the bullet come down to 2.100", and other people have told me theirs are at 2.065" which to me seems like that would be a big jump in the amount of pressure. Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid but who knows.

Ok so I have 100 rounds of 150gr Sierra SP's loaded up with 15.9gr of H110, planning to take 10 out to the range this week and see how they do, I also loaded up 45 of the Hornady 150gr SP's with 15.9gr of H110 and another 10 with 16.5gr to see how those do. I loaded up another 10 of the Nosler Ballistic Tip 125gr's with 17gr of Lil'Gun (got tired of H110 spilling everywhere).

I will put up results when I get back from the range

I loaded 20 rounds of 110gr Vmax this weekend using 19 grains of H110 to 2.040". Not quite the heavy hitter I want but should be fun to shoot.

Let me know how those work out for ya, I wish I had a chrono so I could get numbers from what I have loaded. I will make sure to at least post up about the primers and if I see any signs of pressure. Also have to take pictures and post up grouping results.
