You can remove the rear trunnion and weld up the holes but it would take a skilled welder to make it look decent... probably wouldn't be pretty. With the cost of a fixed stock rear trunnion, new stock, and installation/refinishing costs you would be better off trading it. You could probably sell it and put what you were going to put into converting into it buying a nicer AK and still be $250 ahead money wise.
