Former Bill Clinton Chief of Staff Dick Morris was on Fox & Friends today and outlined how Obama & Clinton are planning on getting the Small Arms Treaty into effect by going around the Senate. I think it had something to do with the Vienna Accord or something.... which in essence says that a signed treaty by the Secretary of State has the same force & effect of law as our constitution & will over ride our bill of rights until nullified by the Senate or the President.

Anyway... on July 27th, Hillary plans on signing the Small Arms Treaty.. it becomes binding law until 1. the Senate over-rides it-- which Harry Reed will not allow it to come to a vote. Or 2. The President [Obama] nullifies the Treaty.. which Obama will not do. Then it will in essense over-ride our second amendment without the advice & consent of the Senate.

So once signed, the only way we would ever get rid of the treaty would be for the Republicans to regain the Senate and vote the treaty down ...or to elect Romney and then he as President would void the United States as being a party to it. If Obama is reelected and the Dems hold the Senate.. we are stuck with this Monster for at least 4 more yrs... and a heck of a lot can happen in 4 yrs.

I stopped listening to Dick Morris when he said on Hannity's radio show last Winter that Obama would not run again for the presidency. That he would pull an LBJ and bow out so Hillary could run.
Of course he also was the originator of the Hillary will switch jobs with Biden rumor so what does that tell you?

If you're still listening to Dick Morris no one can help you.

Crimony. He's not a fortune teller. He can only make predictions. Some are right, some are wrong. At least he has the guts to voice them no matter how stupid they are.

Guys, this is an election year. You really think that Obama is going to enact a gun grabbing treaty in the middle of his campaign for re-election? It is political suicide to do so. Just ask Bill Clinton about the effect of the 1994 AWB.

Yep. Besides, this bunch is way too clever to do it this way. They can accomplish more through Executive Orders and through their Regulation Czar and none of that has to be voted on by Congress. The last thing our Executive Branch wants right now is a public battle over gun ownership. Sometime in the next four years, maybe, but not right now.

Thank you Mr PH for your sheeple comment.

I am in no way advocating, or have I that this WILL go through.

However, In light of Obama most recent quote to Sarah Brady on gun control, when he thought no one was listening:

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,”....“We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

I suggest that everyone remain vigilant.

International treaties MAY BE VOTED ON AND PASSED during lame duck sessions.

Between Hillary, and Obama, Holder, and Reid, I do not put anything past them.

I suppose we will find out shortly, one way or the other.
