Well I am still waiting on a response from the company, I'm sure they had multiple pissed off customer emails from the weekend. Problem is if the decide to replace/repair this one I have no clue where I could sell it and get the amount that I am into it for after paying for shipping 2x already and the cost of the rifle.

Are you wishing you would have kept your AR?

Not really, I do however wish that I hadn't given this company the benefit of the doubt despite reviews I had seen online. I have already talked with 2 Vets Arms Co. about buying 3 or 4 of their Spartan AR lowers when they have them made so I will have a couple AR projects in my future anyways.

My AMD-65 is a beast and costs so much less than this IO Rifle, should have just bought another one of them instead....

Totally unacceptable. They definitely should refund your money as well as the shipping cost! Sucks you've had to go through this whole ordeal. If they refund, go with Arsenal or Vepr. Neither one of those AKs will give you any problems.

I pulled the firing pin retaining pin last night and it was in there solid and in one piece. I seriously have no idea how the firing pin could have come out unless it was installed correctly, but wouldn't that make it unable to fire?

Also it looks like they may have pissed off some of the wrong people, I say this because when you try to use google to look up their website someone has take the liberty of hacking their page and taking it down, but also when you look at the available options on google the links are how to buy Cialis , and online pharmacy info.

Try and install the fireing pin the correct way and see if it comes out again with out fireing it. I was going to ask if the retaining pin had broke on the inside but you already answered that. I cant see how this would have happed at all. It seems impossible if installed correctly but it happened. I dont understand how it fired several rounds and then came out with the pin there. Is part of the front side of the firing pin shaved off flat with the side of the firing pin?

Do not use a different bolt!!!!!! The bolts are headspaced and numbered to the barrel. A few two many .001ths can be something else you wish you never experianced!!!!!

It may be a simple fix but more than likely you should just send it back. I am wondering how this happened. If you were closer Id like to have looked at it

OK I just took some pics of the retaining pin and the firing pin and here they are

Also I got it installed again and the retaining pin back in place, gave it a decent tug from the back and it wouldn't come out, so I will try taking it to the range in the next couple of days and see if it functions or has this same issue again. If it works fine I will be putting it up for sale and reinvesting the money somewhere else (probably a new TV since this money seems cursed due to the rifle).
