I am so sick and tired of hearing Obama and every other anti gun Person say that they favor the 2A for hunting! It's not about the right to hunt dang it!! It's about giving the right to the people to protect themselves against people like Obama, who have forgotten their duty to uphold the constitution. It's for protecting against tyranny. It doesn't say the right to keep and bare arms to hunt. Of that is what it said than things would be different but that ain't what it says. It's time these stupid politicians and lefties realize that.

So, he's upset that those in the house are representing their constituency? Seriously?
...may not feel compelled to pay attention to broad-based public opinion, because what they're really concerned about is the opinions of their specific Republican constituencies...”

Even though Obama is a representative of the people, I believe that he only feels compelled to pay attention to those who agree with his agenda.

“The House Republican majority is made up mostly of members who are in sharply gerrymandered districts that are very safely Republican and may not feel compelled to pay attention to broad-based public opinion, because what they're really concerned about is the opinions of their specific Republican constituencies...”

The system is functioning exactly as it should, by the President's own account. We have a house specifically concerned with the constituents of their own district for the expressed purpose of preventing one President or one Senate with power from silencing the voices of free people. I think the Feinstein bill won't even require a filibuster because the House ain't gonna pass it.

Here, but occasionally There.
It is all about blaming the Republicans, but check out the links below about the Democrats in the Senate not having enough votes to pass gun control there.

Leading Democrat: Gun Control Faces Uphill Climb - Associated Press on WSAV-TV

Bloomberg News - Assault Weapons Ban Lacks Democrat Votes to Pass Senate

New York Times - Democrats in Senate Confront Doubts at Home on Gun Laws

I see all of Obama's accusations at the Republicans as an attempt to get them defeated in 2014. While we in Oklahoma will have no problem keeping our elected officials in place, he hopes to defeat them elsewhere.

Reading the article just made me angry. All this talk of hunting is just becoming frustrating. How many times does it have to be said, that the 2nd isn't about feeding your family?

We will never be able to stop entirely. This is a 'religious' issue for them, they believe guns are evil with the same fervour that my Dad believes in Sanctification by the Holy Spirit. The big difference is that Pop's belief is not testable* the statements of the anti's are demonstrably false.
More guns do not mean more violent crime.
Fact: the number of guns has increased every year.
Fact: the number of violent crimes has gone down every year!
I do not claim the one is the cause of the other, just that more guns does not mean more violent crime.
Of all the falsehoods the anti's champion, this is the one we should be bludgeoning them over the head with.
More guns does not equal more violent crime. Using the Newtown murders for political effect is using the Newtown murders to buttress a lie.

More guns does not equal more violent crime. I didn't get the numbers from a pro-gun website, I got the numbers from the government!

Anybody that cares to can look at the websites of the CDC and the FBI to verify that violent crime has dropped over the last couple decades.

Anybody that cares to can google/yahoo/bing search for news stories to test if more guns are made each year.

Anybody that cares to can google/yahoo/bing search for news stories to test if more guns are bought each year.

This is a watershed moment, if the Obama administration continues it's attempts to destroy the 2nd amendment, then it is either cynically evil, for seeking to score cheap politicly partisan points from the bodies of murdered children in service of a lie, or so blatantly incompetent they shouldn't be allowed to administer a slumber party.
More Guns Do Not = More Violent Crime!
MGDN=MVC!

*relax it was just an example, not a criticism=)
