Ok, need some advice...
I like my FN TPS, which has nice sights on it, though I've put a relatively cheap reflex on it I like, as well. Here's what the factory sights look like -
Now, I've got a Mossberg 835 I swapped the long overbore barrel out for an 18.5" cylinder-bore barrel to be able to do slugs for home defense purposes. The new barrel only has a little gold bead sight and there is no rear sight. Should I just have the receiver tapped and drilled to mount a Picatinny rail on and put on a reflex sight? I like ghost rings and fiber-optic sights, but a simple reflex and rail would be a good option to be able to swap out the sight for something for hunting, should I want to put the longer barrel back on and go shoot some turkeys or whatever.
Anyone got any ideas? Done anything like this with an 835?
