I just ordered three 80% lowers, but these are 7075 Aluminum along with a jig, not the polymer ones. I may try one of those next time. These will be my first time milling out and finishing one and the appealing part is no serial number. If these go well, it's on the the 80% tactical 1911's

Please keep us posted, maybe even with pics. I am very interested.

Considering the Anderson lowers are cheaper I suspect most people are passing on them or they fall into the wedon't want anyone to know we have one group.

I've got a complete Frontier polymer lower including stock etc, I need to get rid of.
Got to looking in the safe the other day, and I have way too many stripped lowers to build.

My idea was to use one of these to try a super light AR pistol build, or perhaps the same in .22 form factor using a polymer upper and a self-contained action along the lines of those used by GSG, Chiappa, or the old caliber conversion kits, etc.

Still have a little to go but here it is. Soon as I drill out the trigger hole I stick it on a cheapo build.
