Any of you ever build a long gun storage unit that lays flat in your truck bed? I see commercial units that are out of my price range and have seen non-weather proof units on diynetwork.com. Sure would free up room in the truck.
Get a tool box and put some gun case foam down to cushion them and maybe make generic rifle cut outs to keep them from flopping around.

Something like this that would mount under a crew cab seat or in the front of the bed would be pretty damn cool.
