Orlando, Florida -- It was a flight bound for Florida, and some airline pilots believe it also may have been a dry-run for terrorists.

The 10 News Investigators have obtained an internal memo that details a frightening incident that brings back memories of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Since then, federal efforts have gone in place to prevent a similar attack, leading many to believe another attack what happened on 9/11 could never happen again.

Wolf Koch, who flies Boeing 767s for Delta Airlines and is the Aviation Security Committee Chairman for the Air Line Pilots Association International, says that belief "is very foolish."

Koch describes the events of 9/11 as "an incredible attack on us. It was very well orchestrated and they're going to try it again... 100 percent, no question in my mind. They're going to try it again."

According to Koch, many other flight crews are concerned the planning may already be underway.

I can't believe they'd try a hijacking again. Too many people who fly have realized they've got nothing to lose by fighting back.

Then again, maybe that was the purpose of the "dry run:" to keep us focused in one direction instead of another.

Upon further review, I really have to question the memo. It doesn't read like a memo, or even a security notice. It's suspiciously devoid of details, to wit: No flight number. No specific dates. No listing of the "evidence of tampering."

You think they care that people will fight back? Doesn't matter to them... these are people who believe so strongly in their cause they are bound and determined to DIE for it. Not take the CHANCE of dying, if they succeed, it is BY dying!

But the secondary goal is to cause panic and disturbance. If they try to commandeer a few airplanes at the same time on a single day, even if every one of their teams is thwarted by passengers and not a single plane crashes... the entire airline industry will be PARALYZED for a time. They will SHUT DOWN for at least the rest of the day, and likely several days. Costing MILLIONS of dollars, delaying tens or hundreds of thousands of passengers, and generally panicking the entire country all over again, forcing us to re-examine and re-write our security procedures all over again and generally freaking out the entire world... all over again.

You don't think that they would consider that a reasonable achievement to attain through FAILURE? Hell, they can't lose!

Bottom line is, we're too politically correct and too afraid to offend someone, so they KNOW they can cause a disturbance.

And guess what... while we're all so busy trying to deal with the airline shutdown it would cause... wouldn't that be a PERFECT time to try something else new and heretofore unexpected?

I think so.

Maybe I'm paranoid, though.

Not paranoid in the least.
This is not a conventional war between nations, it is a war of cultures. For one reason or another that seems to be completely misunderstood by far too many people. People who believe that they can be reasoned with and compromised with. Any time you hear about this enemy wanting to negotiate, it is only a ruse to buy time or to misdirect us. Any action against infidels is which does harm to them is the highest honor this enemy can achieve, especially if it results in their death. Until we accept this we are doomed to fail in our effort to stop it.

Or just GTFO of the enemies back yard... maybe? We've had what 5 or 6 CIA/Spec-Ops missions in unfriendly countries since the threat of going to war with Syria (which was what - a month ago?).

I wonder why these foreigners hate us? It must be our freedom (that we're F@#$ing them in the ass with secretly every other Thursday).
