I just ordered a daniel defense ar-15 300 blackout and i am in the process of trying to determine loads to try. I searched the web and come up with the following information. I will be using the ar-15 primarily for hog hunting. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

primers: CCI 41 - use the military primers to help prevent a slam fire

Powder: Hodgdon H110 & Lil'Guns Winchester 296

Bullets: 110 to 130 grains - keep the velocity high to ensure good expansion on impact

Thanks!

Go to http://www.hodgdon.com/ and enter the load data site, when you get to the 300AAC entry, click on it and you can tailor your search for what you want. Here is a quick and dirty snapshot of what you want, but this is for reference only and you should go directly to the site for the info. I have tried not to make any errors in this, so this should not be used directly for load data, just for reference. Hope this helps.

From Hodgdon’s website, 300AAC Blackout

Note H-110 and WW-296 are the same powder, the data is the same for both.

I've found il gun and m80 pulls are great for plinking. And with a head shot took the fight out of a couple of 200# hogs and the coyotes didn't fair much better.
