I know two people who've found them in the two counties that I've been looking, they both found almost a 100 last weekend.........one of those counties is in a burn ban also, lol. I GIVE UP!

I have never enjoyed a mushroom in my life so I'd assume that I wouldn't care for morels. But gosh darn it, you guys are so passionate about these little shrooms that I want to go hunt some down to see if I'm missing something.
Its all about the adventure of finding them while suffering through the chigger and tick bites. REAL shroom hunters shake them off in their quest to post the biggest harvest pic.
120 tonight from 3" to 8" tall. All processed and in the dehydrator.
Would you expound on how you process, dehydrate & consume?
I found some in northern Rogers county Thursday. Soaked them overnight in saltwater and they got real soft, almost mushy.....
